Lodging

Over night lodging accommodations at Camp Caraway are in modern dormitory style cabins.  Each cabin has twin size bunk beds, heat and air conditioning, and indoor restrooms with hot showers.  Cabins are in walking distance to our meeting spaces and dining hall.

West Woods:

Westwoods Lodge is a large building with 4 separate lodging wings, each sleeping up to 16 guests for an overall accommodation of up to 64 guests. Each wing has its own restroom area of two bathrooms, two sinks, and two showers. There is also a central meeting space in the building.

Camp Caraway prefers a minimum commitment of 40 guests to reserve Westwoods.

Mountain View Cabins:

The Mountain View Cabins hold up to 90 people in four separate cabins with twin size bunk bed style sleeping arrangements. Each cabin has its own restroom area of two bathrooms, two sinks, and two showers. A central meeting space, called the Mountain View Activities Center, is conveniently located near the cabins. Smaller groups enjoy using Mountain View Cabins 1-3 for up to 56 people and Mountain View 4 for up to 34 people , while larger groups may use all the Mountain View Cabins along with other campus buildings.

Camp Caraway prefers a minimum commitment of 50 guests to reserve the entire Mountain View area, and a minimum commitment of 10 guests to reserve any individual Mountain View cabin.

Jacumin Lodges:

The Jacumin Lodges consist of two separate buildings, each sleeping up to 40 guests and can accommodate up to 80 guests for overnight lodging. Both lodging buildings have 2 separate dorm rooms sleeping 20 each. In addition, each building features 2 classrooms, with seating for 20 guests in each room.

In addition to the classrooms in the lodging buildings, guests staying at Jacumin may meet in the ACORNS Activity Center. The ACORNS Activity Center can hold up to 100 guests and features a modern A/V set up with a warming kitchen for preparing refreshments.

The Jacumin area also features a great community campfire area where groups can gather to roast marshmallows, sing songs, and process the day's events. This area can hold up to 80 guests.

Camp Caraway prefers a minimum commitment of 25 guests to reserve the Jacumin Lodges.

Orchard Mountain Hammock Village:

The Orchard Mountain Hammock Village consists of four separate shelters that hold sixteen hammocks each. Restrooms are on-site and there is a beautiful, large pond nearby.

All hammocks are top-of-the-line ENO brand, and are designed for the ultimate camping experience.

Orchard Mountain is perfect for groups looking for a primitive experience.
